Brasserie Astoria Marbella, a new addition to the prestigious Nueva Andalucía neighborhood, has recently opened its doors. Part of the internationally acclaimed Frantzén Group, this luxury dining destination offers a unique fusion of Nordic precision and Mediterranean warmth.
The restaurant reimagines the iconic Dorsia venue with a grand European brasserie style. Its design, overseen by Bishop Design, features a spacious dining hall that can seat around 230 guests, including a private dining room for eight. The ambiance combines classic grandeur with modern luxury, creating a polished yet inviting atmosphere.
Björn Frantzén, the only chef in the world to captain three Michelin three-star restaurants, is involved with Astoria Marbella. The menu draws inspiration from the group's celebrated Stockholm predecessor but features local, seasonal ingredients and Andalusian style.
Key dishes at Astoria Marbella include Toast Astoria with king crab and trout roe, sea bass crudo with yuzu kosho, and a theatrical tableside-flambéed beef tenderloin. Seafood fans will enjoy the grilled sea bass with Champagne beurre blanc and Oscietra caviar, and the Gambas Pil-Pil with red pepper and preserved lemon.
Astoria Marbella's wine list offers a variety of options, including rare vintages, Spanish favorites, and international selections.
