Discussing Betting: Informal dialogue with SYNOT Games
Chat Transcript:
As the year winds down, some folks take a moment to reflect and ponder the possibilities of the new year. That's exactly what happened when Ross Timmins, the founder and CEO of Talk Gambling, sat down for a cozy chat with the talented Michael PolaĢk and Matej SopoĢci from SYNOT Games.
Let's take a quick look back at 2023 - what has this year been like for SYNOT Games so far?
Michael PolaĢk, Product Manager: You ask a thought-provoking question, right off the bat. Our goal has always been progress, and that ethos has been evident throughout this year. In addition to expanding our team, we've dedicated time to streamline our internal processes and boost the quality of the products we offer to our players. We've got a few exciting releases lined up before the end of the year, and I'm certain players will have plenty to be excited about!
Matej SopoĢci, Online Product Manager: This year, we've primarily concentrated on production efficiency. Since we're dishing out 2 games per month throughout the year, we've increased the number of teams responsible for creating games. That way, our players will be treated to new and intriguing content more frequently. However, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards, ensuring that every new game is, at minimum, as good as the one before.
As we move into Q4, what are you most looking forward to, especially since it includes both Halloween and Christmas, which typically inspire themed slots?
Michael PolaĢk: Absolutely. Q4 is a crucial period, and I'm especially excited about the various campaigns we have in store for our players. Among them are the Christmas-themed Xmas Secret and the mischievous Devil's Ride at the beginning of 2024. I'm equally enthusiastic about our upcoming Hold and Win release, as well as the visually stunning Egypt-themed concept, and the Viking-themed slot with stunning graphics. Our players are in for a treat!
Matej SopoĢci: We always aim to pull out all the stops during the holiday season. We've got high hopes for our December release, Heaven Mania, which will be a nostalgic nod to our earlier Hell Mania. Give it a try :-). We've also got Rio Mystery Nights slated for early 2024, a fun game with exciting features. I'm certain players will enjoy it, so make sure to give it a spin! We're always striving to find the right balance between novelty and familiarity, and I'd like to think we're making good progress.
Operators have a wealth of content to select from when it comes to filling their lobbies. Do you have any innovative plans for the games you're creating to ensure they stand out from the competition?
Michael PolaĢk: Of course, we want to keep doing what works. We're generating megaways concepts with interesting features, and we continue to develop Hold and Win features, which have been quite successful. Our future products also feature tons of innovative elements.
Matej SopoĢci: We're constantly working to release something new and intriguing. During the creation process, we pay close attention to the game logo's color scheme, ensuring it doesn't resemble those of previous games too closely. A visually appealing and distinct logo is essential to stand out among competitors. Of course, there's a lot more happening behind the scenes. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our Account Managers, who liaise with casinos and ensure our games are released on time.
Talk Gambling caters to a diverse audience - could you walk us through your development process, especially for those who might be unfamiliar?
Michael PolaĢk: The development process can be broken down into several stages. The initial step is gathering as much information as possible about each individual game. This ensures a smooth sailing for the team working on it. After that, the process is more or less consistent for each game - we create the graphic assets, develop the game logic, add the graphics, establish the math model, and finesse the smallest details to ensure the game's success.
Matej SopoĢci: That sounds spot on. I've got nothing to add.
Are there any new markets you plan to enter in the future, and if so, why those specific markets?
Michael PolaĢk: Currently, we already serve a wide variety of markets. However, there are still markets we desire to penetrate. We're actively preparing to enter Columbia, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, and South America.
Matej SopoĢci: I'd like to emphasize that America represents a completely new market for us. We have a few customers in South America, but, as Michael mentioned, we also aim to establish a foothold in the north.
Can you share any plans for 2024 with us?
Michael PolaĢk: I don't want to divulge too many details, but big things are on the horizon. We're planning to venture into game genres other than classic slots, but you'll hear more about that soon. Some of the already completed games are set for an early 2024 release, and they look fantastic. I highly recommend the next iteration of the popular Aztec Jaguar, with a slightly altered look.
Matej SopoĢci: In 2024, we're looking to keep releasing new games. Moreover, we have new player retention tools in development. I can't make any guarantees yet, but rest assured, no news will go unnoticed. As soon as we're ready, we'll inform our customers, casinos, and the worldwide community. I can hardly wait!
In the midst of increasing excitement, Michael PolaĢk spoke about the holiday-themed slots that SYNOT Games will be releasing, which include Xmas Secret, Devil's Ride, Heaven Mania, and Rio Mystery Nights.
Matej SopoĢci highlighted the upcoming implementation of visually distinct game logos to make their casino-and-gambling offerings stand out among competitors.
